Madison Fiedler is a playwright from Asheville, North Carolina. She lives in Brooklyn.

Her plays include SPAY (produced by Rivendell Theatre Ensemble & American Lives Theatre; winner of the 2023 M. Elizabeth Osborn New Play Award; published and licensed with Concord Theatricals; Jeff Award & Susan Smith Blackburn Prize nominee; National Showcase of New Plays; Kilroys List), HOMOFERMENTERS OR, THE PARK SLOPE CO-OP PLAY (Ars Nova’s ANT Fest), and THIS IS WHAT THE DAYS ARE (Atlantic Theater Company/tall poPpy, Bedlam). Her work has also been developed with Studio Theatre, Barter Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, Fault Line Theatre, BoHo Theatre, Westport Country Playhouse, & Florida Repertory Theatre, as well as supported by residencies, fellowships, & writers’ groups at Willapa Bay AiR, Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Roundabout Theatre Company, and the Lesbian Herstory Archives.

Her debut short film FISHBOWL (directed by Isabel Perry & Adam Yates), a Vimeo Staff Pick, screened in 2024 at Palm Springs International ShortFest, Hamptons International Film Festival, Chicago Intl. Film Festival, Newfest (New York’s LGBTQIA+ Film Festival), and Big Apple Film Festival.
